Summer '07  
What happens when summer comes around.

Funny how i haven't update in a year. A lot of crap happens in a year.

Drama. drama. drama. it's like, "STFU" already. I'm done.

Summer '07, you ready? Too many things happening at once. This always happens every summer. Right when school gets out, there's a rush so see how many bonfires/ parties you can fit in the first weekend. It's insane. It's like people are vying for the same night. I mean, flyers were handed out two weeks before school ended about some bonfire in Bolsa Chica with all the freshman. Two days later, I'm hearing that the sophomores are having a get together at Bolsa also. I know fur sure the Juniors had one thursday night. It's all a scramble. The funniest thing is, I bet the fire pits were all next to each other. tsk tsk. Unbelievable. But then again, that's why it's so interesting. Way to start of summer.

As for plans this summer, volleyball takes up everything. Would it kill the coaches to have practice all at one time, instead of spreading out the dates all over summer. It's so inconvenient because I'm sure other girls wanna go on vacation but their time is so limited because the breaks are so short. UGH. More bitter about this schedule than usual because I wanted to go back to Manila this summer. However, it'd be a waste of $1000 to go for just three weeks, instead of going for a month and a half, like last summer.

Speaking of summer, I have all this free time. Devoted to volleyball (ew), relaxing, and of course, getting back into my creative mode. The photoshop button has been getting lonely lately. Neglected no more.

the comeback.  
I've been neglecting my lj the entire summer. 

The short cut to the long story:
i'm in Manila, Philippines, on vacation. Going back to my roots is such a great change. I havent visited in five years and i'm estatic to be back. I've been here since July 15th. 

I was supposed to be leaving on the 11th of August but i decided to stay longer. There's nothing that i really want to go back to LA for right now. 

Enjoying my time here is my first priority. I can worry about the consequences later on. 

Random pluggage?? haha yeah. it comes every few months.

Never trust the French.  
No indeed. The French are not to be trusted.

I was sitting on my couch, dressed in my Brazilian jersey i bought at a street market in Brazil itself, and holding a rosary.

Towards the 88th minute, i started crying. I'm not even ashamed to admit it. I was already mumbling prayers because time was short and France was leading with a goal.

Brazil had so many chances...so many towards that last stretch. I think they're trying to kill me here. I pretty much have a stomache right now because i felt like vomiting from the shock. The absolute shock when the 3 minutes of stoppage time were up. By that time i was pretty much sobbing. My beloved team has been eliminated.

I think i was just in so much shock, and thats why i felt nauseated. On top of that, the crying. My eye are red and my eyeliner is smeared. Not a pretty picture.

My English boys also had to see the sorry goodbye. I'm telling you right now, penalty kicks are a pain in my ass. They really are.

But England vs. Portugal was really on the Portuguese side anyway. The Portuguese had possession of that ball throughout the game. England was just...ugh. With Rooney's huge mistake of stepping on the crotch of the guy that was guarding him...no no no. And then pushing one Portugal's players. >.< big mistake. I think that's what cost England the match. Not just the penalty kicks but loosing Beckham and Rooney, jeez...it really slowed down their pace as a team. The double overtime pretty much killed them. I can only imagine the exhaustion.

god, i hate upsets.


Four teams through to the semis. Four teams i could really care less about...but i love the drama at the World Cup. >.< So i intend to keep watching...but..

now who the hell am i supposed to root for???

Germany vs. Argentina  
oh yes. sweet relief of this match being over.

I'm a fan of both countries, however. It would have been a disaster if Germany lost, but i also knew that playing against the hosting country is one of the most dangerous thing you can do, especially because it's Germany's home soil. It was likely that Germany would win, but i still wanted Argentina to at least make Germany feel the pressure.

And the Argentinians most certainly did that.

I was pretty much sitting at the edge of my bed, the entire two hours of that game. It was so intense with all these fouls and the arguing. OH THE DISPUTES. Better than any soap drama i see on t.v. When the teams went into penalty kicks. ..xP  i had elephants stomping around in my stomach. I was hoping for more from Argentina in those last penalty kicks where it really is into crunch time, but Argentina did an amazing job playing the game.

Penalty kicks can kiss my ass. I hate those. It's just about the worst way to end a beautiful game. All the players are tired, Ballack's injured...grr. all these factors go into it.

There was some argument off the field after the penalty kicks were finished. I think some Argentinian player was down...?? It caused a rumble in the field...i'll try and find out more about that.

Saturday, is the day for me.

both my favorite teams are playing. Brazil vs. France and England vs. Portugal.

ugh. back to stress mode...:]] i have a party that day with family friends, and i'll be sure to come in my Brazil team jersey.

"Everyone plays for club."  
    Waking up early for practice was a bitch. I don't understand why weight training for a month is really necessary because half the players left for the Reno festivals and J.O's (Junior Olympics).

Everyone plays for club anyway. HA! right. everyone except me. ew. Good news, however, I will be playing for Seal Beach this year or Mizuno. Not sure yet which club my mom will put me in. Ever since i stopped playing club, i've enjoyed my freedom and just playing volleyball for fun and for the school team, but now, high school tryouts are just around the corner and i wish i did continue playing competitively. grr.. i'll have to make sure i'm not falling behind. Tryouts are on the 10th, and i have yet to do some major drills. >.<

Southern California, your weather sucks. It's hot one day, and chilly the next. You're giving the weather man a headache.

I hate testing.

Well, doesn't everyone?? It ends this week. I've had to sit 2 hours in Advisory just doing this stupid test where you bubble in your answers. >.< whatever. It's done this week, and i just cant wait for the week to be over.

Speaking of the weekend, Lucas is having is party on Saturday. Which i am so stoked about it. We're havign a bonfire at Bolsa! w00t. & of course, everyone's going. Well except all the drama-starting people. Lucas decided that he wanted the drama to stay in school. I'm hoping that Mara will be able to come. Everyone want's to meet her and she wants to meet my friends. Party starts at 4 and ends at 9, but knowing us, we'd probably try and stretch till 12, and then go to another party after that.

That's all you get with me and Mara. PARTY PARTY PARTY. :) and YES. we have the time of our lives while doing it.

I'm going through an MKA phase. Well more onethe Mary-Kate part. Posting icons of her soon.

give me back control.  

:) he's back. finally god damnit. Spring Break my ass. i was stressed out the entire week. I get to see him today.

Mara and I decided to put a little welcoming gift for him. I got one of my blank drawing books and we drew stuff for AJ. Well..Mara drew and i collaged for the most part.

School's back again on monday. ughhh. I haven't started on my geometry homework, or the rough draft essay, or this thing for history. Best get to it.

This is the first time in 5 years that i have felt this lonely.

Just because he's across the country having fun, while I'm stuck here, at home..trying to make time go by faster. I've tried being busy, tried not thinking about it, tried sleeping, tried designing something in photoshop...gahh. NOTHING WORKS. I hate this. I wish it was Friday so that he could come home...=/ He's been texting me, but it's not the same. lol He said he wanted a huge hug when he came back. haha i'll probably tackle him when i see him. o.O

Mara and I made plans...I hope she's sleeping over on friday...
1) because i need to talk to her. I will go insane if i dont by the end of the week,
2) my boredom will kill me.
3) i haven't seen her since last weekend. lol
4) i dont need reason's to see my best friend. I just want to.

who's the juggernaut????!!?  

:] No, im not dead. I'm still here, even with the lack of updates

Went over to AJ's house today. Along with Ryan and Steven. Yeah stfu, i was the only girl :) AJ's leaving for Washington tomorrow night, so we all decided to go to his house and hang out. >.< he's gone from tomorrow night until Friday. =/ yeah, in a sad mood right now becuase i won't be able to talk to him that much while he's at Washington. lol who's going to be my punching bag??? x]

Our orignial plan was to watch a movie, but HALO got in the way. Yeah..they taught me how to play, which I'm pretty proud about. Of course I could hear the non stop screams and whoops of, "OWNAGE!" and "son of a bitch!" being yelled out when someone got sniped, but it was still really fun. We played this one level where it's three against one, and the person you have to kill is called the Juggernaut. GAHH. funnest shit ever. :)

Hanging out with my boys is so much more different than being around girls. There's a very distinct vibe about the fun. With my girls pals they'd automatically say, "no, i don't want to play." or they'd rather go on myspace or something than go outside and skateboard.

did i tell you? I'm on spring break which means being lazy, eating and sleeping, and of course...relaxing.

Mafia vs. Citizens  

Melody's party today. :]

yes it was fun. I haven't been able to sit down and talk with her for a long, long time. So i made sure i went. Of course, typical asian party with yummy food. ha. i think i gained a few in the 8 hours i was at her house. Mikee, Oyo, and Mel mel's friends were there. i got to meet mel's crazy friends haha. damn they are loud. :D skateboarded, ate, played with the drums and guitars, ate, played this game called Mafia, ate some more...

called AJ on my way home. As usual, we got into a fight. Ugh, i can be such a bitch sometimes. Even i'll freely admit that for this fight. blahhh. i fucked up. 

new myspace layout soon. i just need ideas for what pictures to use. ideas and suggestions welcome.

I've decided to start up LJ again.

phooey...what is this?? The third time I've tried to do LJ..I don't last long.

I'm in a photoshop phase. Hense, making a new LJ, doing the userinfo and the header on here. that's probably why im attached to LJ again. I've been sticking to myspace for a while, so i currently haven't blogged...in quite awhile. I'm thinking about putting my work somewhere, or making icons for one of the communities to keep myself busy and not be so damn idle all the time.

laziness doesn't suit my temper. i just get more irritated with myself for not doing anything.

i'll post a couple of examples soon..just to see if im really so confident in my work as to try and make some for other people.
